A fluffy whipped coffee made with instant coffee and sugar, served over cold or hot milk. Simple, bold and viral for a reason.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Hot water
  • 1 cup Milk

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Hand whisk or electric mixer
  • Measuring cups
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Add instant coffee, sugar, and hot water to a bowl and whisk using a hand whisk or electric mixer for 3 minutes until thick and fluffy.
  2. Fill a glass with milk using a measuring cup. Use cold milk for iced or warm milk for hot.
  3. Spoon the whipped coffee on top of the milk using a spoon.
  4. Stir before drinking using the spoon to mix foam and milk.

Notes

  • Instant coffee is required. Brewed coffee will not whip.
  • Use an electric mixer if hand whisking feels tiring.
  • Adjust sugar, but keep ratios equal for proper whipping.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
