- Boil the ramen noodles in water for 2 minutes until slightly undercooked. Drain well and set aside for the quick fried ramen texture.
- Mix soy sauce and brown sugar in a small bowl until dissolved.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Add drained noodles to the skillet. Pour in the sauce and toss over medium-high heat until noodles look glossy like butter soy ramen.
- Push noodles to one side. Pour beaten egg into the empty space and scramble gently until just set then toss everything together.
- Remove from heat and drizzle sesame oil. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Slightly undercook the noodles before frying so they finish in the skillet and develop a chewy texture without becoming soft.
