Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz Dry Red Wine Tempranillo preferred
  • 1 oz Orange Liqueur Cointreau recommended
  • 0.5 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
  • 0.25 oz Simple Syrup 1:1 ratio
  • 2 thin slices of Orange
  • 2 thin slices of Lemon
  • 4 fresh Berries raspberries or blackberries
  • Splash of Soda Water
  • Ice: Cubes to fill glass

  • Bar spoon
  • Muddler

Method
 

  1. Add orange and lemon slices plus berries into a large wine glass.
  2. Pour in red wine, orange liqueur, orange juice and simple syrup.
  3. Gently muddle the fruit to release juices without pulverizing.
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes and stir lightly to combine.
  5. Top with a splash of soda water for effervescence.
  6. Garnish with a thin orange wheel on the rim.

Notes

  • Let the Sangria sit for 5 minutes after mixing to allow the fruit to infuse, enhancing the aromatic depth.
