Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder optional

Method
 

  1. Snap stem ends off green beans using hands. Pat dry paper towels.
  2. Preheat oven 425°F. Line baking sheet parchment. Toss beans with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder in bowl using measuring spoons till glossy.
  3. Arrange beans single layer baking sheet no overlap.
  4. Roast middle rack 20 minutes till tender-crisp blistered edges. Toss tongs halfway even char.
  5. Pull sheet. Transfer platter immediate. Serve steaming.

Notes

  • Single layer caramelizes; pile steams soggy. High heat blisters flavor.
  • Fresh thin beans best; thick add 3 minutes.
  • Fridge 3 days, reheat air fryer 400°F 4 minutes.
