Method
- Heat 2 oz of filtered water to 175°F using an electric kettle.
- Place 1 tsp matcha powder into a mug.
- Pour the hot water over the matcha and whisk in a zigzag motion until the tea becomes frothy and bright green.
- Heat 6 oz whole milk and froth using a milk frother until a creamy foam forms.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk into the matcha, holding back the foam with a spoon, then top with the foam.
- Stir gently to combine and drizzle 1 tsp honey over the top.
Notes
Whisk matcha powder thoroughly before adding milk to avoid clumps and enhance froth.
