Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 oz hot water 175°F
  • 6 oz whole milk
  • 1 tsp honey

Method
 

  1. Heat 2 oz of filtered water to 175°F using an electric kettle.
  2. Place 1 tsp matcha powder into a mug.
  3. Pour the hot water over the matcha and whisk in a zigzag motion until the tea becomes frothy and bright green.
  4. Heat 6 oz whole milk and froth using a milk frother until a creamy foam forms.
  5. Slowly pour the frothed milk into the matcha, holding back the foam with a spoon, then top with the foam.
  6. Stir gently to combine and drizzle 1 tsp honey over the top.

Notes

Whisk matcha powder thoroughly before adding milk to avoid clumps and enhance froth.
