Method
- Heat 1 cup filtered water to just below boiling, around 200°F.
- Place the Earl Grey tea bag in a mug and pour in the hot water.
- Steep for 4 minutes until the tea turns deep amber and fragrant.
- Remove the tea bag without squeezing.
- Heat whole milk in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
- Froth the milk until a light, creamy foam forms on top.
- Stir vanilla extract and honey into the brewed tea.
- Slowly pour the hot milk into the mug, finishing with foam on top.
Notes
Keep the milk below boiling to avoid dulling the delicate bergamot aroma.
