Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup kale leaves
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 green apple
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Equipment

  • Blender or Juicer
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional)

Method
 

  1. Wash, peel, and chop all vegetables and fruits using a knife and cutting board.
  2. Add spinach, kale, cucumber, apple, lemon, ginger and water into the blender or juicer jar.
  3. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth, using a tamper if needed.
  4. Strain through a fine mesh strainer with a spatula for smoother texture, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately, chilled or with ice.

Notes

  • Add more water for a thinner juice.
  • Skip ginger for milder flavor.
  • Mint leaves can enhance freshness and taste.
