Ingredients
  

For the Bundles
  • 2 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 12 slices bacon
For the Glaze
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Snap stem ends off green beans using hands. Blanch boiling water 3 minutes bright. Drain ice bath shock.
  2. Preheat oven 400°F. Line baking sheet rack. Gather 6-8 beans tight bundle. Wrap one bacon slice spiral around using hands. Secure toothpick end.
  3. Place bundles seam down on rack. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt in bowl using measuring spoons. Brush bundles generous tops.
  4. Bake middle rack 25 minutes till bacon deep golden crispy. Rotate sheet halfway even cook. Brush glaze midway.
  5. Cool rack 3 minutes. Remove toothpicks. Fan platter hot.

Notes

  • Blanch locks color crisp texture. Thin bacon crisps faster; thick needs 5 extra minutes.
  • Rack elevates drip; foil pan catches grease.
  • Fridge 2 days, reheat 375°F 8 minutes.
