Method
- Add milk, cooked rice, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon to a blender and blend for 30 seconds until smooth.
- Brew espresso or strong coffee using a coffee maker.
- Fill a glass with ice using a scoop.
- Pour the horchata mixture over the ice.
- Slowly add the hot or cooled coffee on top and stir with a spoon.
Notes
- Strain the horchata if you want it extra smooth.
- Almond milk adds a classic horchata vibe.
- Adjust cinnamon slowly. Too much overpowers the coffee.
- Best served iced, but works hot too.
