Method
- Pour 12 oz cold filtered water into a clean glass jar.
- Add the black tea bag and fully submerge it.
- Cover the jar and place it in the refrigerator.
- Steep for 8 hours until the tea turns clear and deep in color.
- Remove the tea bag without squeezing.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve chilled.
Notes
Longer steeping makes the tea smoother, not stronger, so avoid squeezing the tea bag.
