Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Brewed espresso
  • tbsp Milk whole or oat – 3/4 cup
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp Marshmallow syrup
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Smoked salt – a small pinch

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Coffee maker
  • Milk frother
  • Measuring cups

Method
 

  1. Add milk, cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, sugar and smoked salt to a saucepan and heat on low, stirring with a spatula until fully mixed.
  2. Brew espresso or strong coffee using a coffee maker.
  3. Froth the hot chocolate milk using a frother or blender for 15 seconds.
  4. Add marshmallow syrup to a mug.
  5. Pour in hot coffee, then add the frothed chocolate milk. Stir gently with a spoon.

Notes

  • Use smoked salt lightly. Too much kills the flavor.
  • Oat milk adds natural sweetness and extra creaminess.
  • No smoked salt? Skip it and add extra marshmallow syrup.
  • Best served hot for full campfire vibes.
