Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 oz London Dry Gin Hendrick’s preferred for floral notes
  • 0.75 oz Elderflower Liqueur St-Germain recommended
  • 0.5 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 0.25 oz Rich Demerara Syrup 2:1 ratio
  • 2 dashes Orange Blossom Water
  • Ice: Large clear cube for chilling

  • Hawthorne Strainer
  • Boston Shaker
  • Bar spoon

Method
 

  1. Chill a coupe glass in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, demerara syrup, and orange blossom water in a shaker tin.
  3. Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously until the outside frosts over.
  4. Double strain into the chilled coupe to remove small ice shards.
  5. Garnish with a delicate edible flower floated on top, releasing a gentle floral aroma.

Notes

  • Gently slap the edible flower between your fingers before placing it on the drink to enhance its fragrance.
