Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond milk or coconut water
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon spirulina powder optional

Method
 

  1. Pour almond milk (or coconut water) into the blender
  2. Add frozen spinach, frozen mango and frozen mixed berries into the blender.
  3. Sprinkle chia seeds, ground flax seeds and spirulina powder and cinnamon.
  4. Secure the lid and blend on high for 1 minute or until smooth. Use a tamper if needed to push ingredients down for even blending.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, reduce the amount of liquid or add more frozen fruits. You can adjust the sweetness by adding stevia or a bit of honey, but make sure it fits within the Daniel Fast guidelines.
