Masala Chai is not a background drink. It announces itself the moment it starts simmering. Warm spices rise with the steam, filling the room before the first sip even happens. It is bold, comforting and deeply familiar. This is the tea people reach for in the morning, during rain or when conversation needs slowing down. Strong black tea, milk and spices come together into something grounding and satisfying. When made properly, it feels balanced, not sharp, not flat, just right.
