London Fog Latte Tea

London Fog Latte Tea

London Fog Latte Tea feels like a quiet afternoon wrapped in steam. The aroma hits first. Soft bergamot from Earl Grey rises through warm milk, then a gentle sweetness follows. It is calm, cozy, and slightly elegant without trying too hard. This is the kind of drink you make when you want to slow down, sit near a window, and let the day breathe. Creamy but not heavy. Floral but not perfumed. Everything stays balanced, which is why it never gets old.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 6 oz whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp honey

Equipment

  • Electric Kettle
  • Saucepan
  • Milk frother

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup filtered water to just below boiling, around 200°F.
  2. Place the Earl Grey tea bag in a mug and pour in the hot water.
  3. Steep for 4 minutes until the tea turns deep amber and fragrant.
  4. Remove the tea bag without squeezing.
  5. Heat whole milk in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
  6. Froth the milk until a light, creamy foam forms on top.
  7. Stir vanilla extract and honey into the brewed tea.
  8. Slowly pour the hot milk into the mug, finishing with foam on top.

Notes

Keep the milk below boiling to avoid dulling the delicate bergamot aroma.
