Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium beet
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 small apple
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Equipment

  • Blender or Juicer

Method
 

  1. Wash, peel and chop beets and carrots using a knife and cutting board.
  2. Add beets, carrots, apple, ginger, lemon juice and water into the blender or juicer jar.
  3. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth. Use a tamper if needed.
  4. Pour juice through a fine mesh strainer using a spatula for smoother texture, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately, chilled or with ice.

Notes

  • Add more water for a thinner consistency.
  • Skip apple for lower sugar content.
  • Ginger adds a spicy kick and extra antioxidants.
