Ingredients
Equipment
Method
- Wash your strawberries. Use a knife & cutting board to trim off the stems.
- Peel the avocado and remove the pit. Scoop out the avocado into the blender jar using a spoon.
- If you’re using banana or mango, peel and slice banana, or chop mango into chunks, then add to blender.
- Pour your chosen milk into the blender.
- Add honey into the blender.
- Add strawberries and avocado into the blender.
- Blend on high for 30–45 seconds.
- Serve immediately chilled.
Notes
- Add optional flavorings like tsp rose water and tsp orange blossom water, if you want that authentic Lebanese floral touch.
- For a chillier, thicker smoothie use frozen strawberries (or toss in a few ice cubes before blending).
- If you don’t have clotted cream (ashta), plain yogurt or ricotta work fine for topping.
- Drink this right away. If you store leftovers, keep in fridge and consume within 1 day freshness and creamy texture drop over time.
- For dairy-free version, use almond, oat, or soy milk. Smoothness is still on point.
- Adjust sweetness to your taste – raw honey gives rich flavor and slight floral tone, but you can use maple syrup or less sugar if you want lighter taste.
