Lavender Lemonade

Lavender Lemonade

Lavender Lemonade feels calm, bright and a little elegant without trying too hard. It is the kind of drink that slows you down after a long day and makes simple moments feel special. The floral note is gentle, not perfume-like, and the lemon keeps everything sharp and fresh. This is a great choice for spring afternoons, brunch tables, garden parties or when you want a non-alcoholic drink that still feels grown-up. It is refreshing, balanced and easy to love even for people who usually avoid floral flavors.

  • 1.5 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz Homemade Lavender Syrup
  • 3 oz Cold Filtered Water
  • 1 oz Sparkling Water chilled
  • Ice cubes fresh and clear
  • Lemon wheel for garnish
  • Dried culinary lavender for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Fine Strainer
  • Citrus juicer
  • Bar spoon

Method

  1. Chill a highball glass with ice and set it aside.
  2. Add lemon juice, lavender syrup, and cold water to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for about 8 to 10 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Discard the ice from the glass and add fresh ice.
  5. Strain the mixture over the ice.
  6. Top gently with sparkling water to keep the bubbles lively.
  7. Stir once very lightly to combine.
  8. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a small pinch of dried lavender.

Notes

  • Do not overuse lavender syrup. Too much makes the drink taste soapy. Keep it subtle so the lemon stays in control.
  • Serve in a tall highball glass with ice to highlight its delicate lavender hue and refreshing citrus aroma.
